The widget isn't updating. Widgets refresh on a schedule the OS controls (roughly every 15 to 30 minutes). If it's been longer, open the app once. On Android, also check that battery optimization isn't restricting the app.
Can I turn off the profanity? Yes. There's a clean mode. Still judgmental, just politely.
Where does the weather data come from? Open-Meteo. If the forecast is wrong, the sky lied to both of us.
